Konrad Rosén

Konrad has worked with mineral‑filled plastics since 2000 and, from 2015 onward, has focused on developing innovative compounds that combine minerals with biodegradable polymers at GAIA. This unique material, known as Biodolomer, is a patented, versatile compound suitable for all major conversion processes.
As the manager of GAIA’s R&D team, Konrad plays a leading role in creating next‑generation materials designed to meet increasingly stringent EU regulations and the growing demand for biobased raw materials sourced within Europe. His work takes place at a pivotal moment, as the European plastics industry faces significant challenges, making sustainable, locally sourced solutions more important than ever.
