Anagnosti John Choukalas

Anagnosti John Choukalas was born 24/08/1968 in Canada and graduated from the University of Calgary specializing in Environmental Biology and Environmental Management. He has been a proud member of APIVITA since 2004, starting as product manager, moving on to Supplies and Purchases Director in 2005, then in 2008 to New Business Development director and since 2013 he led the newly formed Sustainability & CSR dpt. In 2014 he moved to Tokyo as managing director of APIVITA Japan. Upon his return in late 2015 he was appointed as the Head of Human Resources. Since PUIG Group acquired APIVITA in 2017, he became Head of Global Human Resources, Education & Sustainability and appointed to the APIVITA Executive Committee. In 2023 he was named Head of Sustainability Derma Division, Puig Group responsible for APIVITA & URIAGE. In May 2025 he joined the B Corp Beauty Coalition Supervisory Board. He is also a member of the advisory boards of the Business Administration Department and of the Master’s program in Marketing (Sports, Culture and Politics) at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Anagnosti John or “Tasos” as his friends call him, is a motivational speaker characterized by his passion to “pollinate” young generations with a natural, ethical, and socially responsible way of thinking, living and doing business that will lead to a more sustainable future world.
