Argiris Dabanlis

Argiris Dabanlis, MEng., MSc, MBA, is a seasoned technical and business leader with over 35 years of international experience in packaging, supply chain, and industrial operations. Based in Brussels, he is Technical Manager at PETCORE EUROPE and General Secretary of both the European PET Bottle Platform (EPBP) and the Trays Circularity Evaluation Platform (TCEP). He collaborates closely with industry stakeholders and EU institutions to advance PET recyclability, circularity, and innovation in support of Europe’s Green Deal objectives.
Before joining PETCORE EUROPE, Argiris held senior roles within The Coca-Cola System, directing multi-country technical operations and commercialization across South and Eastern Europe. He led major packaging and product innovations, optimized manufacturing networks, and ensured operational resilience during periods of disruption, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a consultant, mentor, and trusted advisor, he is recognized for expertise in change management, packaging development, and supply chain optimization. His work is driven by a commitment to solving complex technical challenges, fostering innovation, and guiding teams. Today, he focuses on ensuring PET remains a cornerstone of the circular economy by demonstrating that industrial transformation and environmental responsibility can align.
